“Cedar” fence installed 2018 cost $6600+. Posts supposed to be in concrete & clearly are not. Some boards pulling away from posts & some posts actually pulling fence down in spots. A contractor friend repaired worst spot no charge.… More Called company in August 2024 & told $95 charge to inspect issue which would be applied to repair cost. There should be NO repair cost if work & material had not been inferior. Would expect a “ cedar fence to last more than 6 years.
UPDATE: Mike N. from Fence Authority contacted me regarding issues with my fence. We had a conversation about the issues Mike came to house, inspected the fence, took pics & videos. He agreed that the problems needed to be repaired & sent a crew to do the repairs the following week after his inspection. The crew went right to work on the problems and it seems as though the problems are resolved. Crew was polite, informative and work done in a timely manner. Mike assured me that I could call him with any further problems.
