For starters, Cedartech fences are built on jumbo 2x4s. That’s right! We use twice the amount of wood than most others, who use 2x3s. This makes our fences sturdier and stronger than most others. Cedartech fences are made from wood sourced and milled here in North America – mainly New England and Canada. Most Cedartech fences are made from white cedar, which is blonde in color and usually planned on both surfaces and edges. White cedar weathers to a beautiful silvery gray and is a stable, strong wood. Cedar shingles and siding protect many homes in New England. White cedar’s proximity to the Mid-Atlantic region makes it very affordable in comparison to other species of wood.
We have been installing great fences for almost three decades. We have always provided a warranty because we stand behind our products. After almost 30 years, we’ve decided to back up our fences with the Only Lifetime Workmanship Warranty in the fencing business. Our warranty is not a material warranty – it’s a Workmanship Warranty, which means we are covering the actual labor and workmanship that went into your fence. This includes things like leaning posts, loose pickets, and gate adjustments. Cedartech and ActiveYards products come with their own material warranties, but our Lifetime warranty goes above and beyond what those cover.
